Woman Share: Batik | One of Blessing in Jogja

Did you hear about Batik? Batik is one of traditional fashion in Indonesia that become popular in this century. When i was child, i didn't like Batik because for me it was so oldish and not fashionable. But, i was surprised many years ago when Batik become a popular fashion in the world. Many designers used Batik for their collection and some artists from another country wear Batik for their performance. Actually, i'm so glad because of Batik, Indonesia can bless another country with our culture. I pray to God to bless Batik and give wisdom to more designers how to mix and match Batik for their collection. Because i live in Jogja, i want to share with you how to find Batik in Jogja (maybe you have a plan to go to my city) :

1. Find The Right Place
You can find Batik in many place in Jogja. But, i just want to share the cheapest places. Here is the list that you can find it :

- Mirota Batik Malioboro

- Bringharjo Market (at Malioboro Street)

- Saphir Square Ground Floor (at Jendral Sudirman Street or Jl.Solo-Yogya)

You can buy Batik from IDR 25.000 for a shirt and about IDR 30.000 for a dress. It's very cheap

If you want to be different, just buy a Batik Clutch (price IDR 25.000) and you will look so different.

2. Mix and Match Batik for Any Condition
You have dress or shirt from Batik? Just try to mix and match them with right accessories. I will share about my office friends Batik mix and match when we were in Christmas last year and some from another idea. Hope can inspire you
